About this role

Overview: On average there are roughly 1,300 take-offs and landings every day at Heathrow, making it one of the busiest airports in the world. So it comes as no surprise that complex construction projects help the airport run smoothly. In fact, the construction of Terminals 2 and 5, were some of Europe’s largest and most complex construction projects to date! In this virtual work experience programme, we’re taking a look behind the scenes to see the thought and scale behind these projects. What’s Included: You’ll learn about modern construction methods, how to be more sustainable and the gateway cycle. You’ll take part in fun quizzes and thought provoking activities, like managing a challenging project, we’ll also encourage you to do your own research into what roles interest you most in the construction sector.
