Overview: A careers ambassador plays a vital role in your school or college. They’re responsible for promoting engagement with your careers programme and encouraging your peers to access all the support and information they need to make informed decisions about their next steps. Have you been recruited as a careers ambassador for your school or college? Or, are you someone who wants to help support your peers in making decisions about their futures? If so, this training programme is for you! What’s Included: This unique programme will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a careers ambassador. By taking part, you’ll have the opportunity to complete interactive modules which will hone your skills and develop your knowledge of career options. In this training programme, we’ll provide you with skills training to help you: Develop your knowledge about the careers curriculum in your school or college Develop your skills and encourage you to reflect on your own career choices Develop your confidence when talking about the importance of career education with your peers, teachers, careers teams or external organisations Strengthen your CV and future applications for college, university or apprenticeship providers Gather evidence for your volunteering as part of a DofE award.
