Lesson Overviews Introduction - DESNZ offers a wide range of careers focused on tackling climate change and delivering secure, sustainable energy. You’ll work on impactful projects across policy, science, engineering, and business that shape the UK’s future. Apprenticeships - Apprenticeships combine hands-on experience with formal training, allowing you to earn while you learn. In this lesson, you’ll discover what apprenticeship opportunities are available within the Civil Service. Graduate Schemes - Graduates can join through the Civil Service Fast Stream, a structured programme designed to develop future leaders. What’s more, a huge benefit of a career in the Civil Service is that you can earn a degree alongside your career at no cost to you! Internships - Internships and short-term placements provide insight into how government works and the role DESNZ plays in energy and sustainability.
