Data Business Systems Analyst Apprentice

SLG is a design-led international beauty company, creating, manufacturing, and distributing some of the high street's most innovative beauty and male grooming brands. About the role: Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, you'll play a key role in supporting and developing the systems that keep our business running. You'll gain hands-on experience with ERP systems, Power BI, SQL, automation tools, AI technologies and in-house applications while working alongside experienced colleagues and external technology partners. What you'll be doing: Provide first-line support for business systems, investigating issues and escalating where appropriate. Assist with the administration, maintenance and testing of our ERP system. Use SQL to support data analysis, troubleshoot issues and improve data quality. Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation using tools such as Power Automate, Python and AI. Monitor and support system integrations, assisting with testing and implementation. Support business systems projects, including upgrades, testing, documentation and user acceptance testing. Gather user requirements and contribute to the development of in-house applications. Maintain system documentation and help deliver user training and guidance. About you: We're looking for someone who is curious, analytical and keen to build a career in business systems. You'll ideally have: A genuine interest in business systems, data, reporting and technology. A basic understanding of databases and SQL through study, work experience or personal projects.
