Vertu BMW Motorrad Shipley We are looking to recruit an Apprentice Motorcycle Technician to join our busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an outgoing, enthusiastic person to join the team. We are looking for somebody with a genuine passion for motorcycles. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop their skills in all aspects of motorcycle maintenance, servicing and repair, whilst working on the exciting BMW Motorrad range. You will be working in a Motorcycle workshop within a busy team environment, representing the BMW Motorrad brand and its values by exceeding customer expectations and delivering an outstanding level of service and quality. What is the role of an Apprentice Motorcycle Technician? You will be carrying out maintenance and repair work, servicing, and visual inspections on customer motorcycles. This will include completing relevant documentation and working alongside qualified Technicians on more complex diagnostic and repair tasks. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. You must have a passion and interest in the motorcycle industry, be a team player, have excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate a dedicated and motivated approach to work. What qualifications do you need? • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, plus one other subject at Grade 4/C or above. What training will you receive? • All apprentices undertake a Manufacturer-accredited qualification up to Level 3 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair. • Training is delivered at the relevant Manufacturer Training Centre and involves block-release attendance of one week per module.
