We’re looking for an IT Support Technician Apprentice to join our growing team, gain hands-on experience and build the skills needed for a successful career in IT. For more than 50 years, Lawrence David has been a leading provider of trailers, truck bodies and transport solutions across the UK logistics and transport sector. We are committed to innovation, quality and continuous improvement, with technology playing an increasingly important role in supporting our operations and future growth. As part of our IT team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, support colleagues across the business and contribute to digital transformation initiatives that make a real difference to how we work. What you’ll be doing: You’ll work alongside the IT team to support colleagues across the business and help maintain our technology services. Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1st line IT support for business users Assisting with hardware and software installations, including new starter device setups Supporting on-site installation and decommissioning of IT equipment and services Helping with basic networking tasks such as PC and printer setup Maintaining and troubleshooting communication tools (Microsoft Teams, Outlook) Creating help guides and FAQs to support users Shadowing experienced IT professionals on projects and day-to-day operational tasks What we’re looking for: No prior professional IT experience required—any relevant coursework or personal projects are a plus Genuine passion for technology and IT Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude A logical, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative Organisational skills and reliability Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems, Active Directory, Office 365 (desirable) Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) (desirable) Experien
