Aurora Recovery provides corporate insolvency, restructuring and business recovery services. The successful candidate will join a professional, commercially focused environment and gain practical experience while developing a long-term career within the insolvency profession. About the role: Aurora Recovery is looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our insolvency and business recovery team. This is an entry-level position for someone who wants to develop a professional career within the insolvency and restructuring industry while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification. No previous insolvency experience is required. Full technical and practical training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced insolvency professionals and gain first-hand experience of corporate insolvency assignments, including Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs), Administrations and Compulsory Liquidations. As your technical knowledge develops, you will gradually take greater responsibility for individual aspects of cases under appropriate supervision. Responsibilities: Opening, maintaining and updating insolvency case files Preparing standard statutory and case correspondence Communicating with directors, creditors, employees, accountants, solicitors and other stakeholders Obtaining, organising and reviewing company books and records Reviewing basic company financial information, bank statements and accounting records Processing creditor claims and proofs of debt Maintaining accurate case records and electronic filing systems Assisting with reports, notices and correspondence to creditors Monitoring statutory and internal case deadlines Assisting with general case progression from appointment through to closure What we are looking for: An interest in business, finance, law or accountancy A genuine desire to learn and develop technical knowledge Good written and verbal communication skills Confidence working with numbers and basic financial information St
