About the Proper Jobs Fresh Start Programme We know things are tough out there for young people right now. That's why we're launching our Proper Jobs: Fresh Start Programme. It will offer 1,000 new apprenticeships by 2030 to people like you who want to develop into our next generation of retail leaders. Our Proper Jobs: Fresh Start Programme lasts for up to 2 years.
It combines learning in the workplace, formal off-the-job training and online learning. For more information and FAQs click here About the Job Role You'll start by spending 13 weeks working as a Morrisons Customer Assistant, before progressing to a 12-month apprenticeship in Retailing. If you successfully complete your apprenticeship and assessments, you could then progress to our Sir Ken Morrison Leadership School.
This is a six-month programme, which can kickstart your journey into retail management. Retailing is the home of the Proper Job - and it's been at the heart of Morrisons since 1899. After 13 weeks, you'll move to a Retailer Apprentice, and through the apprenticeship we'll help you learn about the retail industry, from customer service, to sales, stock management, products, communication, teamwork, and loads more.
We're looking for friendly individuals to help to provide great customer service in our stores, along with using in-store tech to carry out tasks like stock counts and gap scans - playing a role in keeping our shelves stocked for our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career and gain qualifications while earning. Ideal for college or sixth-form leavers seeking their first step into the workplace.
No previous experience required - full training and support will be provided through the apprenti
