Use Apprentice Wizard in ChatGPT
- Open Plugins, then choose Add and Add custom MCP server.
- Name it ApprenticeWizard, paste the address https://www.apprenticewizard.co.uk/api/mcp and set authentication to OAuth.
- Choose Connect ApprenticeWizard, sign in and review the access request.
- Mention ApprenticeWizard in a chat, for example: find digital apprenticeships in London.

- Open Settings, then Connectors.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Enter the remote MCP address https://www.apprenticewizard.co.uk/api/mcp.
- Sign in to Apprentice Wizard and review the access request.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT or Claude about apprenticeships without it?
Without the connector, an assistant answers from its general training and whatever it finds on the web, so a closing date can be out of date or wrong. With the connector it reads the listings held on Apprentice Wizard when you ask, and each result links to the listing and the employer's own application page. Check the closing date on the employer's page before you apply.
Can the assistant apply for me or delete my applications?
No. It cannot submit an application for you, and it cannot delete anything. It can search listings, save a role to your tracker, change the stage of a tracked application and list your deadlines.
What can the assistant see in my account?
Only what the connector tools cover: public opportunity listings and your tracker. You review the access request when you sign in, and you can remove the connection from ChatGPT or Claude settings whenever you want.
