Terms of Service
Last updated: September 4, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Apprentice Wizard (the "Service"), or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. The sign-up screen displays this statement and links to both documents before an account is created. If you do not agree, do not use the Service or create an account.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Apprentice Wizard for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- Modifying or copying the materials
- Using the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
- Attempting to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the platform
- Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
- Transferring the materials to another person or "mirroring" the materials on any other server
- Using the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person
- Creating bots or automated tools to scrape the platform without permission
3. Disclaimer
The materials on Apprentice Wizard are provided as is. Apprentice Wizard makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
4. Limitations
In no event shall Apprentice Wizard or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Apprentice Wizard, even if Apprentice Wizard or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
5. Accuracy of Materials
The materials appearing on Apprentice Wizard could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Apprentice Wizard does not warrant that any of the materials on the platform are accurate, complete, or current. Apprentice Wizard may make changes to the materials contained on the platform at any time without notice.
Job Listing Accuracy: Apprentice Wizard aggregates job listings from third-party sources. While we work to maintain accuracy, we do not guarantee the accuracy of job postings, company information, or requirements. We recommend verifying all information directly with the employer before applying.
6. User Accounts
6.1 Account Registration
To use certain features of Apprentice Wizard, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
6.2 Account Suspension
Apprentice Wizard reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in any conduct that we deem inappropriate or harmful to the platform and its users.
7. Paid Plans
7.1 Available Plans
Apprentice Wizard offers paid access through one-time Application Season Passes and recurring Entry, Mid and Top subscriptions. No plan provides lifetime access. The core platform, opportunity search, CV Builder, and tracking for up to 5 active applications remain free of charge with no credit card required.
- Application Season Passes are one-time payments and do not renew. The available pass and price depend on the purchase window: £39.99 for September to November, £24.99 for December to February, and £49.99 for March to August.
- Entry is £1.99 per month or £19.99 per year; Mid is £4.99 per month or £49.99 per year; and Top is £12.99 per month or £129.99 per year. The features and total price for the selected plan are shown at checkout.
- Monthly Entry, Mid and Top subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Eligible first-time subscribers may receive 50% off their first month of monthly billing. The discounted first payment is taken immediately, and later monthly payments are charged at the standard price shown at checkout. Annual billing does not include this offer. No plan provides unlimited use.
- Retired plans: existing subscribers on the former £14.99 three-month plan keep their price, billing dates and access unchanged until they cancel.
- Coaching packages: separate, invite-only human support packages are reviewed and invoiced independently and are not included in a subscription (see Section 8).
7.2 Payment and Authorisation
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Apprentice Wizard does not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Before you confirm a purchase, checkout shows the selected plan, the amount charged immediately, the currency, the billing interval, the standard renewal price, the next billing date, and how to cancel. By confirming a recurring checkout, you authorise Stripe to take the immediate payment shown and later renewal payments on the displayed schedule. Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable under UK law.
7.3 Introductory Offers and Existing Trials
If you are eligible for the introductory monthly offer, Stripe takes 50% of the standard monthly price when you subscribe. Your subscription then renews at the standard monthly price shown at checkout unless you cancel before the next billing date. The offer is limited to one use per person, customer, account, and payment method. Creating or using another email address, account, device, browser, or payment method, or otherwise trying to bypass eligibility controls, does not create a new entitlement. We may verify eligibility and refuse or remove an introductory offer where we reasonably identify duplicate use, fraud, or abuse; the ordinary paid price shown at checkout will then apply. Free trials started before these terms took effect continue under the trial length, first charge date, price, and cancellation terms shown when that checkout was confirmed. We no longer offer new free trials.
7.4 Renewals and Cancellation
Recurring subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period at the price shown at checkout, unless cancelled before the next billing date. You can cancel through Settings using the Stripe billing portal. Cancelling after an immediate introductory payment stops future renewals while leaving access available until the end of the first paid month. Customers with an existing trial that began before these terms took effect can cancel before the trial ends to prevent the first paid charge, in line with the terms shown at their checkout. Not using the Service, deleting your account, uninstalling the app, changing your email address, removing a payment method, or failing to read a reminder does not cancel a subscription. If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it and access may be restricted while an amount remains due; a failed payment is not a cancellation.
7.5 Refunds and Payment Disputes
Except where a refund is required by law, a payment was taken in error or twice, or the Service was not supplied as agreed, payments are non-refundable once charged. This includes an introductory first-month payment, the first paid charge after an existing trial, every later renewal, and any unused part of a paid period. Forgetting to cancel, not using the Service, deleting an account, or not reading a renewal notice does not create a refund entitlement. Authorised use of an account by someone else does not change this policy. If you think a charge is unauthorised, duplicated, or incorrect, contact support@apprenticewizard.co.uk promptly and contact your payment provider where appropriate. Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights, card-scheme rights, or remedies for faulty, misdescribed, or undelivered services or digital content. Any discretionary refund or credit is a goodwill decision and does not create a continuing entitlement.
7.6 Price Changes
We may change prices for future purchases or renewals. Where a change materially affects an existing recurring plan, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect and will not apply it retrospectively to a period already paid for. You can cancel before the new price takes effect.
7.7 Service Availability
Wizard AI features are provided on a best-efforts basis. We do not guarantee continuous availability of AI tools and are not liable for downtime caused by third-party AI providers, including OpenAI. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
8. Coaching Services
8.1 Nature of Coaching
Coaching is a separately purchased, invite-only service. Access is granted at Apprentice Wizard's discretion following review of an enquiry; approved clients receive separate payment and booking details. An Apprentice subscription does not guarantee acceptance into coaching or include coaching sessions.
8.2 Scope of Coaching
Coaching includes, but is not limited to:
- Weekly 1-1 sessions (approximately 60 minutes each) scheduled between you and your coach.
- A personalised application strategy based on your profile and target roles.
- At least one mock interview session with live feedback.
- Direct message access to your coach on Discord between sessions.
8.3 No Employment Guarantee
Coaching is advisory in nature. Apprentice Wizard does not guarantee any specific outcome, including securing an interview, offer, or employment. Results depend on the individual's effort, qualifications, and market conditions.
8.4 Scheduling & Cancellation of Sessions
Sessions must be scheduled with reasonable notice. If you miss two consecutive sessions without prior notice, Apprentice Wizard reserves the right to pause coaching services. Missed sessions are not automatically rescheduled or refunded.
8.5 Conduct on Discord
You agree to communicate respectfully with your coach and any Apprentice Wizard staff on Discord. Abusive, threatening, or harassing behaviour will result in immediate removal from the coaching programme without refund.
9. User-Generated Content
9.1 Application Tracker Data
All data you enter into your Application Tracker (saved opportunities, notes, deadlines, etc.) remains your property. You retain all ownership rights to this data.
9.2 Testimonials and Feedback
By submitting a testimonial or feedback to Apprentice Wizard, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your testimonial in marketing materials, on our website, and in other promotional activities. If you mark your testimonial as "public," it will be displayed anonymously to all users.
9.3 Blog Posts
If you are an admin or contributor, you retain ownership of blog posts you create. By publishing a post, you grant Apprentice Wizard a license to display, distribute, and archive the content. You warrant that you have the right to grant this license and that the content does not infringe on any third-party rights.
9.4 Prohibited Content
You agree not to submit content that:
- Is illegal, defamatory, or harassing
- Contains spam, malware, or malicious code
- Infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Contains explicit sexual content or violence
- Promotes discrimination based on protected characteristics
10. Intellectual Property Rights
The materials on Apprentice Wizard are owned or controlled by Apprentice Wizard or by other parties that have licensed their materials to Apprentice Wizard. You are not permitted to:
- Reproduce or copy the platform or its content
- Claim ownership of Apprentice Wizard materials
- Use Apprentice Wizard trademarks, logos, or brand without permission
"Apprentice Wizard" is a trademark of Apprentice Wizard. All other trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.
11. Third-Party Materials
Apprentice Wizard aggregates job listings from third-party sources including:
- GOV.UK Find an Apprenticeship
- Higherin (formerly RateMyApprenticeship), apprenticeships
- Not Going to Uni (NGTU)
- UCAS Career Finder, apprenticeship and graduate opportunity listings
These listings are used under terms agreed with these third parties. We do not verify the accuracy of all listings. For employment inquiries, you should contact the employer directly.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apprentice Wizard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or revenue, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
The total liability of Apprentice Wizard to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Apprentice Wizard in the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. No Employment Relationship
Apprentice Wizard is a platform that connects job seekers with opportunities. Use of our Service does not create an employment relationship between you and Apprentice Wizard or any employer. All employment relationships are between you and the employer directly.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Apprentice Wizard and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your violation of any applicable laws
- Your user-generated content or submissions
- Your interactions with other users or employers
15. Referral Programme
15.1 How It Works
Apprentice Wizard operates an optional referral programme. When you share your unique referral link and a new user signs up and completes a paid plan purchase, you may earn a commission as account credit, subject to the conditions below.
15.2 Commission Rate
The commission rate is set by Apprentice Wizard and is currently 10% of each successful payment made by the referred user under a paid subscription. This rate may be changed at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification and will apply to payments made after the effective date.
15.3 Reward Conditions
Referral rewards are only issued when all of the following conditions are met:
- The referred user signs up using your unique referral link.
- The referred user completes a genuine payment for a paid plan.
- The referred user's payment is not subsequently reversed, refunded, or charged back.
- The referred user is not yourself or a duplicate of an existing account.
- Your account is in good standing and has not been suspended or banned.
15.4 Holding Period
To protect against fraud and refund abuse, all referral rewards are held in a pending state for 30 days from the date of the triggering payment. Rewards only become available for redemption after this period has passed without a refund or chargeback on the referring payment.
15.5 Redemption
Available referral credit may be redeemed against the cost of a paid Apprentice Wizard plan. Credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Unused credit is forfeited on account deletion.
15.6 Referee Discount
New users who sign up via a valid referral link may receive a one-time discount on their first plan purchase. This discount is applied automatically at checkout and cannot be combined with other promotional codes.
15.7 Fraud & Abuse
Any attempt to abuse the referral programme, including creating fake accounts, self-referrals, or coordinated manipulation, will result in immediate disqualification from the programme, forfeiture of all pending and available rewards, and may result in account suspension. Apprentice Wizard reserves the right to withhold, adjust, or revoke rewards where fraud or abuse is suspected.
15.8 Tax Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any tax obligations arising from referral rewards you receive. In the UK, referral credits used against your own purchase are generally treated as a discount and are not taxable income. However, you should seek independent tax advice if you are uncertain about your obligations.
16. Account Suspension & Termination
16.1 Grounds for Suspension
Apprentice Wizard may suspend or permanently ban your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:
- Violated any provision of these Terms of Service.
- Attempted to defraud Apprentice Wizard or other users (including referral fraud).
- Engaged in abuse, harassment, or illegal activity through the platform or Discord.
- Attempted to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent platform security.
- Provided false information during registration or account management.
16.2 Effect of Suspension
Upon suspension or termination, your access to all features, free and paid, will be revoked. Any pending or available referral credit is forfeited. Paid plans will not be refunded except where required by law or at Apprentice Wizard's discretion. Your data may be retained for legal and compliance purposes in line with our Privacy Policy.
16.3 Appeals
If you believe your account was suspended in error, you may submit an appeal to support@apprenticewizard.co.uk within 14 days of suspension. We will review appeals on a case-by-case basis. Our decision following an appeal is final.
17. Modifications to Terms
Apprentice Wizard may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will publish the updated version and, where a change materially affects your rights or an existing paid plan, give reasonable notice before it takes effect. We will not apply a change retrospectively to a completed purchase or remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you do not agree to a future change, you may stop using the Service and cancel any recurring plan before the change takes effect.
18. Governing Law
These Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy are governed by the law of England and Wales, except where the mandatory law of the country in which you live gives you additional protection. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, where permitted by applicable law, in the courts where you live. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
19. Severability
If any part of these Terms of Service is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Apprentice Wizard and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, or negotiations.
